Pattern Play

Since moving to Los Angeles, I landed an awesome gig as Project Manager for a very talented designer, Amber Lewis of Amber Interiors. It’s a real blessing having a job you enjoy getting up for everyday and are truly passionate about — not everyone has that luxury. Not only am I part of an industry that I love, I have the pleasure of working for someone whose style and aesthetic I personally align myself with.

Amber is a goddess in mixing bold patterns + color in unexpected ways. Below are pictures of her humble abode captured by Bryce Covey Photography featured over on Style Me Pretty Living. Her house is chock-full of color, pattern, and bold prints that she effortlessly mixes in a relaxed and quirky style. I love that the envelope of the room — walls, counters, floors, etc. are neutral and she adds drama and color through accessories, textiles, pillows + art. It’s fresh and clean and enables you to be a “habitual decor-changer” as Amber has coined herself and I can attest to.

Check out Amber’s blog for daily inspiration + a laugh or two. And peep her Shoppe where she sells amazing rugs, pillows, and textiles.
